With three million U.S. children exposed to shootings each year, the teenage dream is not what it used to be. That was the idea behind an Emmy-winning film written by Jim Connolly for Sandy Hook Promise, in which real school shooting survivors sung Katy Perry’s famous song. I helped create the film’s surrounding campaign.

And we even turned Sandy Hook Promise’s instagram grid into a yearbook page reminiscing about the times these teens will never forget.
